Holiday home Casa Cavallo by the lake
Our brand new, 103 m² holiday home is located in a small holiday park in Emsland/Lower Saxony. It is situated on a lush plot with its own jetty and a new rowing boat, directly on the Neuringer Moorsee. Here, up to 6 people can enjoy peace and quiet as well as a change of scenery with horse riding, cycling or excursions in the surrounding area.
Our house is particularly suitable for families, couples, senior citizens and nature lovers. Thanks to its ground-level location and barrier-free access, including to the terrace, Casa Cavallo is also ideal for people with limited mobility. Personal support from our staff on site!
In our ultra-modern holiday home there are 2 large bedrooms, a spacious bathroom, a separate guest WC and a sauna.
The kitchen-cum-living room is modern and furnished to a high standard. Two additional guests can sleep comfortably on the sofa bed.
Two terraces with lake views invite you to relax.
there are 2 car parking spaces directly at the house. A dog is welcome for an additional fee.
The house complies with the latest building standards (triple glazing, thermal insulation) and is therefore well tempered in summer and winter and has low energy consumption. Our house is a non-smoking house.
Casa Cavallo from the inside
The kitchen is comfortably equipped with dishwasher, large fridge-freezer, cooker with oven and microwave (branded appliances).
There is a large sofa in the bright and modern living room with 2 panoramic windows. The 2 comfortable armchairs invite you to read or relax. A television and DVD player are also included. You will also find a selection of games, books and DVDs for children and adults.
There is an additional wardrobe and cloakroom in the hallway.
There are 2 well-designed bedrooms (one with a double bed and one with 2 single beds and a desk), each with a large wardrobe. All windows can be darkened.
The spacious bathroom has a double washbasin, a walk-in shower, toilet, hairdryer and a washing machine, tumble dryer and plenty of hooks. The sauna is directly adjacent to the bathroom and is particularly popular in winter. There is also a guest WC at your disposal.
The installed infrared heating quickly provides cosy warmth in every room. The floor is tiled in all rooms.
The garden and outdoor area
The 540 m² property invites you to spend relaxing hours by the water with a covered, cool terrace and a west-facing sun terrace. The patio door has no threshold. The property is fenced and only open to the lake side.
The private jetty on the lake with its own rowing boat invites you to take a boat trip on the lake or go fishing. This is free of charge and also suitable for beginners, as no fishing licence is required. Swimming in healthy moorland water is also fun for young and old. If you bring your own SUP, you are also welcome to paddle on the lake.
A large Weber kettle barbecue is also available at the house.
In front of the house you will find 2 parking spaces as well as a tethering bar for a horse or your bicycles.
Our house is located next to a pony farm. During the season (end of March - end of October) you can ride here for a fee, but you can also bring your own horse during your stay. A petting zoo and a playground for the children, as well as a farmer’s café with brunch on Sundays round off the offer.
There is also a large indoor playground for fun in all weathers on the grounds, including indoor soccer and table tennis (fidget arena, for a fee). Our in-house sauna provides a wellness experience, and recently you can also hire a private day spa in the park with a whirlpool and a view of the lake (for a fee).
The surrounding area is ideal for cycling and exploring the moorland. Twist is right on the Dutch border. You will find information material on other beautiful excursion destinations and possible activities in our house.
Various shopping facilities and restaurants can be found directly in Twist and are easy to reach by car or bicycle.
We look forward to welcoming you to our holiday home, which was newly built in 2022. We have created a modern, yet cosy and comfortably furnished house for our holiday guests and ourselves. Everyone should feel right at home here and want for nothing! This is also ensured by our personalised service before arrival and on site!
As an architect, I paid attention to good sound insulation, thermal insulation and a perfect layout of the rooms as well as beautiful views and barrier-free access during the planning phase.
When we rented a holiday home here for the first time in 2020, we immediately fell in love with this wonderful combination of peace, nature and nearby leisure activities.
A year later, we decided to build a holiday home ourselves and make our little dream come true.
